Webinars

Do you have a passion for protecting and advancing civil rights? Join us on Thursday, October 31, at noon ET for a special webinar with the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund to learn more about a unique opportunity to be part of the Marshall-Motley Scholars Program.
For the past four years, LSAC has been honored to partner with the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund to promote the Marshall-Motley Scholars Program. Named in honor of civil rights pioneers Thurgood Marshall and Constance Baker Motley, this groundbreaking program provides a full scholarship for law school tuition, room and board, and incidentals, along with internship and fellowship opportunities, for 50 aspiring civil rights lawyers who will advocate alongside Black communities in the American South.
Moderated by Angela Winfield, LSAC vice president and chief diversity officer, and joined by Christina Hayes from the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, the webinar will feature current Marshall-Motley Scholars who will discuss their experiences with the program and to answer your questions.
The deadline to apply for this year’s Marshall-Motley Scholars Program is February 5, 2025. There is no cost to apply.
