As a precautionary measure during the COVID-19 pandemic, LSAC ceased administering the LSAT at test centers and switched to 100% virtual testing in order to provide a safe way for law school aspirants to continue on their legal education journey. Although the remotely proctored LSAT has been highly successful, some test takers expressed they would welcome a chance to take their LSAT in person at a test center. Starting with the August 2023 LSAT administration, most test takers will have that choice.
